This information deals with the most common issues users have with TheBestSpinner.
Please read the information carefully - it may save you needing to wait for a reply from support.
You can download the latest version of the software from this URL:
That link will always have the most up-to-date version.
IMPORTANT DOWNLOAD NOTES:
Where should I save the download file?
Save it anywhere you like, but you have to remember the location or the name of the downloaded file!
Most of our customers save their download file to their Desktop.
What happens when I download?
When the download starts you'll see a pop-up status bar and percentage indicator, but the download normally only takes a few seconds.
I've downloaded it now. Where was the file saved?
We have no way of knowing where *you* saved the file. It's normally saved in a default "Save As" location, or wherever you chose in the "Save As" window that shows when you go to download.
Does downloading install it?
No, downloading is just transfers the installer to your computer. It doesn't install for you at the same time. You have to start the installation yourself, as explained later.
What should I do after I download?
When the download finishes, you should go to the location where you saved the file and follow the instructions below.
If you've ever installed a previous version of TheBestSpinner, make sure you're not running that old version while you do the installation.
After doing the download, double click the file you downloaded to start the installation process. It only takes a few seconds to complete.
In many cases you may need to install the application as admin. If you RIGHT CLICK on the downloaded file you should see a small menu appear. Near the bottom you should see RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.
If you need to retrieve your password you can do so from within the application itself on the application login dialog - there's a FORGOT PASSWORD option.
Your username is normally your primary Paypal email address. You have to be sure to use it the same as you have it in Paypal, because it is case sensitive. That means you must use the same capitalization when logging in.
Should you ever wish to reset your password, just visit this URL:
You will be asked to enter your primary Paypal email address. An email will be sent to you at that address, with a link for you to click. Make sure to check your primary Paypal email address AND your spam folder, in case the reset link goes there by mistake.
When you click on that link a new password is then generated for you and you will be shown the password generated by our system. You can't choose your own password, you have to take the one shown.
